The divorce settlement between actors Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan has reached public attention following a recent court filing. The couple, who finalized their divorce in November 2019, had been engaged in a dispute over financial matters, particularly concerning Tatum’s earnings from his successful film Magic Mike.

According to court documents filed on November 26, 2025, the settlement details how Tatum and Dewan, aged 45 and 44 respectively, will divide their retirement accounts. Dewan is set to receive 50 percent of Tatum’s contributions to the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) producers’ pension plan, derived from income earned during their marriage. In turn, Tatum will receive the same percentage from Dewan’s SAG producers’ pension plan, effectively balancing their financial interests.

The couple’s conflict primarily revolved around profits from the 2012 film Magic Mike. Dewan’s legal representatives argued that she was entitled to half of Tatum’s earnings from the film, claiming it was financed with shared funds during their marriage. This issue has now been addressed as part of the settlement.

Tatum and Dewan’s relationship began in 2006 when they starred together in the popular dance film Step Up. They married in 2009 and welcomed their daughter, Everly, in 2013. However, their marriage ended in April 2018 when they announced their separation, with Dewan filing for divorce in October that same year. The divorce was finalized over a year later.

The recent court filing sheds light on the terms of their settlement, which had been kept confidential since the couple’s agreement in September 2024. While both Tatum and Dewan have not publicly commented on the filing, the resolution of the financial aspects marks a significant step in their post-marriage arrangements.

As both actors continue their careers, the settlement allows them to move forward with clarity regarding their financial obligations to each other. The attention surrounding their divorce underscores the complexities often involved in high-profile separations, particularly when significant financial interests are at stake.
