McDonald’s Monopoly Launches in Scotland on September 10

McDonald’s has officially announced that its popular Monopoly game will return to restaurants across Scotland on September 10, 2023. This annual competition typically runs for around six weeks, offering customers the chance to win a variety of prizes, including cash, holidays, and free food items.
The game allows participants to collect stickers from selected food packaging. These stickers represent train stations or color-coded road names, reminiscent of the classic Monopoly board game. Notably, not all menu items will feature the peelable stickers, creating a competitive atmosphere as customers aim to gather multiple stickers to complete property sets for bigger prizes.
Exciting Prizes Await Participants
While McDonald’s has yet to disclose the full range of prizes for this year’s competition, past offerings have included a £2,000 Jet 2 Holiday and a £100 Virgin Experience Day. Instant win food prizes can be redeemed at any McDonald’s location by presenting the game token at the counter during an order.
For those who prefer a digital experience, the McDonald’s app allows users to scan QR codes on the stickers to check if they have won a prize. Over recent years, winners have received cash rewards along with vouchers from digital peel games.
Participating Menu Items and Options
Last year, several popular menu items included stickers, such as medium and large fries, Chicken Selects, and the McPlant burger. This year, customers can also participate in the game by ordering through delivery services like UberEats, ensuring that the excitement of Monopoly is accessible to a broader audience.
As the countdown to September 10 begins, fans of the game can look forward to the thrill of collecting stickers and the possibility of winning substantial prizes while enjoying their favorite McDonald’s meals.
