Amelia Dimoldenberg Signs Major Deal with Apple for TV Show

Amelia Dimoldenberg, the British comedian known for her popular YouTube series, has secured a significant deal with Apple to create her first standalone television show. The announcement comes as Dimoldenberg, who has built a substantial online presence over the past decade, aims to expand her brand beyond digital platforms.
Having interviewed an array of celebrities, including Billie Eilish, Sabrina Carpenter, and Jennifer Lawrence, Dimoldenberg boasts a following of over 3.17 million subscribers on YouTube and 4 million followers on TikTok. This extensive audience provides a promising foundation for her upcoming series, which is set to premiere on Apple TV+ later this year or early 2026.
Show Focuses on Superfans
The new program will delve into the world of superfans, exploring what drives their intense admiration for celebrities. According to industry insiders, the show will feature segments highlighting the fervent fanbase of Taylor Swift, one of the most dedicated groups among contemporary artists. It is expected to include footage from Swift’s recent Eras Tour in the UK, showcasing fans’ experiences and interactions.
Dimoldenberg’s unique interviewing style, which has made her a favorite among both fans and celebrities, will likely contribute to the show’s appeal. She has previously attracted a variety of notable guests for her light-hearted conversations filmed inside a Morley’s chicken shop. Among her past interviewees are acclaimed actors Jonathan Bailey, Hugh Jackman, and Ryan Reynolds.
Dimoldenberg’s Rising Star Power
The comedian’s ability to connect with high-profile individuals has garnered her a growing list of admirers. Her work has not only made her a familiar face on YouTube but has also led to opportunities on the red carpet, where she interviews celebrities at major events. Given her experience and connections, Dimoldenberg is well positioned to offer an engaging perspective on fan culture.
In a separate entertainment development, ITV’s coverage of the England Lionesses’ victory over Italy in the Euro 2025 semi-finals reached a peak audience of 10.2 million viewers across various devices, marking it as ITV’s largest peak audience of 2025. This significant milestone underscores the growing interest in women’s sports and the potential for future programming in this area.
Additionally, actor James Buckley, known for his role in “The Inbetweeners,” recently faced an unusual incident while traveling to the United States. Buckley was detained for attempting to bring OXO cubes, a popular British cooking ingredient, into the country. He later clarified that he intended to gift them to his wife’s aunt. This mishap has led to heightened scrutiny during his travel, with his boarding pass now marked for additional security checks.
As the entertainment landscape continues to evolve, Dimoldenberg’s upcoming show with Apple reflects a shift towards content that resonates with dedicated fan communities. The anticipation surrounding her project highlights the trend of blending traditional television with the vibrant world of social media influencers.
