Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls Beta Launches with New Heroes

Marvel has announced that the highly anticipated second Closed Beta for Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls will take place from December 5, 2025, to December 7, 2025. This announcement came during a surprise State of Play Japan event, where several gaming titles were showcased, but it was the fighting game update that particularly excited fans.

The latest trailer for Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls revealed the addition of two iconic characters: Spider-Man and Ghost Rider. With these additions, the game’s playable roster now includes eight characters. This expansion allows players to create more dynamic team compositions, enhancing the gameplay experience.

New Features and Improvements

In addition to the new characters, the Closed Beta will introduce two new battlegrounds: the prehistoric Savage Land and the storied X-Mansion. Both arenas will feature unique interactive elements, promising to enrich gameplay beyond traditional static environments.

The development of Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls is a collaboration between PlayStation Studios, Arc System Works, and Marvel Games. Accessing the Beta

The second Closed Beta will run for a total of 72 hours on the PlayStation 5. It begins at midnight Pacific Time on December 5 and concludes on December 7 at 11:59 PM PT. During the first two days, players can engage in both CPU battles and online matches, while the final day will focus solely on online gameplay.

Returning players who participated in the first beta will be automatically registered and will receive a reminder email from PlayStation. Those who registered previously but did not play should keep an eye out for an invitation. New players can still register to express their interest in participating for the first time.
