Kerry Katona Undergoes Surgery for Breast Complications

Kerry Katona is currently recuperating at home following another breast surgery, just a few months after her fourth enhancement procedure. The 45-year-old celebrity underwent the latest operation due to complications related to scar tissue that formed after her previous surgery in August 2023.

In her exclusive column for new! magazine, Katona revealed that she is under strict medical orders to rest. She stated, “I haven’t been up to much this week in terms of work because I’ve been under doctor’s orders to rest after having surgery on my breasts.” Her fourth breast augmentation included a lift and new implants, but a lack of adequate recovery time led to the rupture of scar tissue.

Following the operation, Katona is recovering at home with her boyfriend, Paolo Margaglione, whom she met earlier this year on the reality show Celebs Go Dating. Katona praised Margaglione’s support during her surgery and recovery, saying, “He was there when I went down for surgery and when I woke up. I really do love that man!”

Katona expressed her disappointment regarding the need for additional surgery. She explained, “I had ruptured the tissue after having breast implants because I didn’t rest enough after having the implants put in in the first place.” She had previously shared in October that a pre-op appointment was necessary to address the ruptured scar tissue, noting, “I’ve basically got to get the surgery again to fix that, which is a pain, but it is my own fault!”

The former Atomic Kitten member’s journey with cosmetic surgery has been closely followed, particularly after she expressed dissatisfaction with her body following significant weight loss. In March 2023, she stated, “I just want my own boobs back. I don’t want massive boobs or anything really fake, just my boobs again!”

While managing her recovery, Katona is also looking forward to spending the upcoming holiday season with Margaglione and their children. “This year it’s my first Christmas with Paolo and his daughters, and all of my children are all going to be there so it’s a real special one this year,” she shared.

Katona is excited about the festive preparations, revealing that she has hired a decorating company, “Decorators For Christmas,” to transform her home. “I’ve had so many themes over the years, including Grinch, but this year I’m going for a Home Alone style,” she noted.

As she focuses on her health and family, Kerry Katona is optimistic about her recovery and the joyous moments to come this Christmas season.
