During the relocation, services will be available at Hillside Dental Practice on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. The full team, including dentists, dental nurses, and reception staff, will be present to ensure continuity of care for patients. On Mondays and Fridays, when the dentist is not on-site, the receptionist will remain available by phone and email to handle inquiries and coordinate urgent or emergency care.

To facilitate access for patients, a shuttle bus service will operate from Ramsey to the Central Community Health Centre on Westmoreland Road in Douglas on the days when Smile Dental Practice is in operation. This service aims to minimize disruption for patients during the transition period.

A spokesperson for Manx Care stated, “All scheduled treatments and appointments will proceed as planned, with the only change being the location.” The practice’s telephone line will be redirected to a mobile phone, ensuring that patients can maintain contact without interruption.

Smile Dental Practice will reach out directly to all patients impacted by the relocation, providing details about their appointments at Hillside. The spokesperson added, “We kindly ask that patients do not contact Hillside Dental Practice directly.” While the exact duration of the relocation remains uncertain, it is expected to be a short-term measure as efforts are made to return the practice to its original location as quickly as possible.
