Angry Ginge Joins ‘I’m A Celebrity’ Seeking Love and Adventure
The popular Twitch streamer known as Angry Ginge has signed up for the upcoming season of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here with a surprising goal: to find a girlfriend. The revelation comes from a close friend of the 23-year-old internet personality, whose real name is Morgan Burtwistle. He has gained significant fame, amassing over five million followers across various social media platforms.
As he prepares to enter the ITV reality programme, Angry Ginge will be joined by several notable figures, including UK rapper Aitch and Emmerdale actress Lisa Riley. ITV executives are optimistic about his potential to draw substantial viewing figures, with bookmakers already naming him the early frontrunner to win the competition.
Friend Reveals Romantic Intentions
The true motivation behind Angry Ginge’s participation was shared in a TikTok clip featuring fellow YouTube and Twitch personalities Tays and Scousemali. Tays disclosed that Angry Ginge had expressed his desire to find romance on the show. He stated, “Ginge told me before he went on there, that he’s going on I’m A Celebrity to find a girlfriend.” Scousemali added, “He’s going on there to find love.”
This declaration adds an intriguing twist to the competition, where contestants typically focus on survival challenges and public votes rather than personal relationships. The social dynamics could play a significant role in the unfolding drama of the show.
Early Controversy and Excitement
Adding to the buzz surrounding Angry Ginge’s debut, he recently joked about potentially breaching one of the show’s major rules before the competition has even started. Contestants are prohibited from revealing their co-stars’ identities or contacting them before the official announcement. Yet, he playfully claimed to have spoken to three fellow campmates, including Kelly Brook and Lisa Riley.
At Brisbane Airport, he expressed his excitement about the experience, saying, “I’ve never been here before so it should be fun.” He humorously recounted a series of unexpected phone calls that led him to join the show. “I got a random phone call last night from Kelly Brook, saying she’s coming to visit her auntie Sheila, do I want to join her? So I said, ‘I might as well.'”
As the premiere date approaches, fans are eager to see how Angry Ginge’s quest for romance will unfold in the wild setting of the reality show. I’m A Celebrity is set to return on November 16, 2025, airing on ITV One and ITVX. With his playful personality and ambitious intentions, he is poised to make a significant impact in the competition.
