Bruno Fernandes Predicts Bright Future for Bryan Mbeumo at Manchester United

Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes has expressed optimism about the future of new signing Bryan Mbeumo following the forward’s debut during the club’s pre-season tour in the United States. Mbeumo, who joined from Brentford after a protracted negotiation process, made his first appearance for the club shortly before the team departed for the Premier League Summer Series.
Mbeumo had not participated in training with his new teammates since early July, which led to a gradual introduction into the first team. Coach Ruben Amorim opted not to include him in the matches against West Ham and Bournemouth, but he started alongside Matheus Cunha in the game against Everton, where he was substituted at half-time.
The 25-year-old forward reflected positively on the experience, sharing on Instagram: “US Tour done. Happy to have made my debut with the team. Thanks fans for the massive support.” Among the supportive replies he received was one from former teammate Ivan Toney, who encouraged him with the message, “Let’s go my son,” while Diogo Dalot added, “Allezzzz Bryan.”
Bruno Fernandes made his own prediction for Mbeumo, stating, “First of many,” highlighting his belief in the forward’s potential at Manchester United. Moving forward, it remains to be seen how Amorim will utilize Mbeumo. The coach may choose to deploy him as a second striker alongside Cunha or Rasmus Hojlund, or potentially in a deeper position such as a No. 10.
Fans can anticipate a clearer picture of Mbeumo’s role in the squad during the team’s final pre-season fixture against Fiorentina on Saturday at Old Trafford.
As Manchester United prepares for the upcoming season, the club’s management and supporters are eager to see how new signings will integrate into the squad. The anticipation surrounding Mbeumo’s future at United adds to the excitement as the team gears up for competitive play.
