Man Arrested After Threatening Behaviour Outside Café

A man was arrested in connection with threatening behaviour while armed with a knife outside a café in Brockworth, Gloucestershire. The incident occurred on September 11, 2023, when police responded to reports of a man making threats to kill while brandishing a knife.

On that afternoon, officers arrived at Court Road shortly after 14:50 local time. Witnesses reported an altercation between two men, after which one individual fled the scene towards the nearby Brockworth Community Centre. Law enforcement described the suspect as a white male in his early twenties, wearing a black tracksuit with white writing and carrying a bum bag. Despite an extensive search of the area, officers were unable to locate the man at that time.

Five days later, on September 16, 2023, authorities apprehended a man in his twenties on suspicion of multiple offenses. These included making threats with a bladed article, possession of a bladed article, and threats to kill. Following the arrest, he was released on bail while the investigation continues.

Gloucestershire Police are actively seeking information from the public regarding the incident. They encourage anyone who witnessed the events on Court Road or who possesses relevant CCTV or dashcam footage to come forward.
