Fans of the acclaimed series Stranger Things can now immerse themselves in the show’s nostalgic atmosphere at newly opened themed cafés in Scotland. To coincide with the highly anticipated release of the series’ fifth season, Primark has launched these cafés as part of its ongoing collaboration with Netflix. The cafés are located in select Primark stores, offering a menu inspired by American diner culture.

As excitement builds for the final season, set to premiere in three volumes starting on November 27, 2023, Primark is expanding its offerings with a new 80-piece collection. This collection, available in stores worldwide from October 20, features exclusive artwork t-shirts and fashion pieces that celebrate key moments from the series. Among the highlights is a special range of graphic tees designed by Kyle Lambert, the artist known for creating the official posters for the show.

The themed cafés have been revamped to reflect the essence of Hawkins, allowing fans to indulge in a menu filled with nostalgic delights. Patrons can enjoy loaded hot dogs, classic pizza slices, and crispy tater tots, alongside a selection of beverages that includes both hot and cold options. For those with a sweet tooth, the cafés offer retro sundaes and shakes, including the signature ‘Hawkins Highfloat’—a cherry soda topped with vanilla ice cream.

According to Emma Gill from the Manchester Evening News, menu items include Benny’s Burger Bar offerings like the Surfer Boy Margherita Twist (£5.50), Benny’s Diner Burger (£6.50), and American Hot Dog (£5.95). Additional options such as Totside Down tater tots or cheesy tots start at £3.95, while shakes and ice cream are priced from £4.95. One standout item is The Void, a black vanilla ice cream shake topped with cream, Oreo crumb, and gummies.

The launch of these cafés builds on Primark’s successful partnership with Netflix, which commenced in 2020. The collaboration has already produced multiple sell-out collections catering to fans of various shows. Sarah Jackson, Director of Licensing at Primark, expressed enthusiasm for the new collection, stating, “With Stranger Things returning for an epic final season, we’re bringing fans our biggest collection yet. This drop celebrates every moment from the very beginning to the final goodbye, all at the affordable prices Primark is known for.”

As fans prepare for the upcoming season, they can look forward to the release schedule for Stranger Things 5, which includes four episodes on November 27, three episodes on December 26, and the finale on January 1, 2026. Each volume will be available for streaming at 01:00 UK time, ensuring that viewers can engage with the series as soon as it premieres.

The new cafés not only provide a unique dining experience but also serve as a perfect backdrop for social media moments, inviting fans to capture and share their experiences in a vibrant Hawkins-inspired setting. As anticipation builds for the new season, the Primark cafés are poised to become a popular destination for both fans and food lovers alike.
