Man Charged with Manslaughter of Tattoo Artist Georgina Ward
A 39-year-old man, Daniel Birtwistle, has been charged with the manslaughter of tattoo artist Georgina Ward, who died nearly five years ago. The charges include allegations of coercive behaviour and a total of 13 counts of assault involving additional victims. This announcement was made by West Midlands Police, who confirmed the charges after consulting with the Crown Prosecution Service.
Birtwistle, a resident of Tamworth in Staffordshire, faces serious accusations related to his relationship with Ward. According to police, he allegedly assaulted her on multiple occasions between May 2020 and her death on November 24, 2020. Furthermore, Birtwistle is accused of engaging in controlling and coercive behaviour towards Ward from August 2019 until her death.
