LLVision Unveils Leion Hey2 AR Glasses at GITEX 2025
At GITEX Global 2025 in Dubai, LLVision showcased the Leion Hey2, an advanced pair of augmented reality (AR) translation glasses designed to facilitate seamless, real-time conversation across languages. The event, held on October 25, 2025, focused on the theme of “All Intelligence,” which aligns with the practical AI applications embodied by the Leion Hey2.
The Leion Hey2 aims to enhance face-to-face communication, displaying real-time subtitles directly in the wearer’s field of view. This feature is particularly beneficial for travelers, business teams, and event attendees who need to converse in different languages without losing eye contact. Weighing just 49 grams (1.7 ounces), the glasses are designed for comfort and usability, supporting two-way translation in over 100 languages with a targeted average latency of under 500 milliseconds.
Innovative Technology and User Experience
Building on LLVision’s extensive experience in AR and AI, which spans over 11 years, the Leion Hey2 integrates advanced features that include on-device speech capture and low-latency translation. Users can expect up to 8 hours of typical use from a single charge, and with the included pocketable charging case, cumulative usage can extend to 96 hours with multiple recharges. This capability makes the glasses suitable for extended trips and conferences.
During the GITEX event, participants engaged in live conversations while experiencing the head-up display (HUD) subtitles projected in their line of sight. Optional audio output can be connected through a paired smartphone or earbuds, effectively simulating real-world scenarios like trade shows, airport interactions, and multilingual classrooms.
Roy Lou, Chief Operating Officer of LLVision, emphasized the importance of technology in enhancing human connection: “Technology should remove friction from human connection. With Leion Hey2, people can look up, speak naturally, and be understood—without juggling a phone or losing eye contact,” he stated. This reflects the company’s commitment to making communication more intuitive and accessible for everyone.
Recognition and Market Impact
LLVision has made significant strides in both enterprise and consumer AR markets. The company’s previous generation of glasses, the Leion Hey, received the UNESCO Netexplo Innovation Award in 2022, helping to define the emerging category of AR subtitle glasses. Additionally, LLVision has successfully implemented large-scale deployments, including a safety inspection solution for China Southern Airlines, which was featured in Harvard Business Review’s “The Year in Tech 2024.” This recognition highlights the company’s innovative contributions to the field.
With features such as quick language switching, note-taking, and auto-generated meeting summaries, the Leion Hey2 is equipped for various scenarios, including trade shows and multilingual teamwork. As policymakers, enterprises, and AI leaders gathered at GITEX, LLVision’s focus remained clear: to make cross-language conversation feel as natural as speaking in one’s native language.
The introduction of Leion Hey2 signifies a shift in how AR technology can be integrated into daily life, moving from mere demonstrations to practical tools that enhance communication in real-time. With this advancement, LLVision aims to support more individuals in understanding and being understood, regardless of language barriers.
