AJ Odudu Faces Disappointment on BBC’s The Wheel Game Show
AJ Odudu, the host of ITV’s Big Brother, encountered an unexpected setback during her recent appearance on the BBC One game show, The Wheel. The episode, hosted by Michael McIntyre, showcased Odudu among a group of celebrity specialists, but she finished in last place, much to her astonishment.
In The Wheel, contestants answer questions across various topics with the help of celebrity experts who are arranged around a rotating wheel. The format allows for a mix of entertainment and knowledge, as contestants aim for a cash prize while navigating the challenges presented by McIntyre and his guests. If a contestant answers incorrectly or lands on a celebrity who has been ‘locked out’, they are eliminated from the game.
The latest series of The Wheel has returned to screens, featuring McIntyre’s trademark humor. In the upcoming episode airing on November 8, 2025, Odudu expressed her disbelief at her performance, stating she thought she had “smashed it.” McIntyre noted her unfortunate position, saying, “Poor AJ has not been spun in.”
Odudu reflected on her experience, saying, “I thought I was going to be up there with Ed and Jonathan; I did. I was like come on here we go.” Despite her confidence, the episode revealed that the strength of the wheel had impacted her outcome.
This weekend’s episode is particularly notable as it will air earlier than usual, starting at 20:00, due to the Royal British Legion Festival of Remembrance 2025, which begins at 21:00. As the third episode in a series of ten, viewers can look forward to more engaging content from the game show.
Odudu will also return to her role on Big Brother this Friday, alongside co-host Will Best, for another live eviction. Fans are encouraged to tune in to both shows for more updates and entertaining moments.
