Mike Brewer, known for his role on the television series Wheeler Dealers, recently disclosed the three used SUVs that “sell almost immediately” at his newly opened dealership, One Automotive, located in Leamington Spa. This venture marks what Brewer describes as the “biggest gamble of his life” as he invests his pension into the business.

Brewer, who has become a familiar face through shows like Driven on Channel 4 and Wheeler Dealers, has shifted his focus to a dealership that specializes in both motors and commercial vehicles. He highlighted that three specific SUVs are particularly popular among buyers.

Top Sellers in Demand

During an interview with The Mirror, Brewer explained that the vehicles in question are the Hyundai Kona, Ford Kuga, and Nissan Qashqai. He noted, “These five-door SUV ‘soccer mum cars’ are incredibly practical, allowing parents to drop off kids and do shopping seamlessly.” The popularity of these models underscores their appeal as reliable family vehicles.

Brewer emphasized the reliability of these SUVs, stating that they “disappear from the lot the moment they arrive.” He remarked on the impressive warranty offered by Hyundai, which stands at an extensive 10 years. This, combined with their affordability, makes Hyundai vehicles a top choice for many buyers. The Kona and Qashqai have received favorable reviews, achieving a solid four out of five rating from What Car? Magazine, while the 2025 Kuga scored a respectable three out of five.

A Behind-the-Scenes Look

As Brewer embarks on this ambitious journey, he is set to give fans an inside look at his dealership through his new television series, Mike Brewer: Born Dealer. The show will document his experiences and challenges as he navigates the highs and lows of running a dealership. “This is a chance to look into the bonnet and see the real Mike Brewer,” he stated, expressing excitement about sharing his personal journey.

Viewers can expect to see a variety of vehicles featured on the show, including some of Brewer’s favorites. Among these is a carbon black BMW M3, along with a Mark 2 Volkswagen Golf equipped with a VR6 engine. Brewer also plans to highlight a charitable project involving Richard Hammond’s mother’s Mazda MX5, which they will restore and sell for charity.

Through this new venture, Brewer hopes to showcase not only his passion for cars but also the diverse array of vehicles available, ranging from classic models to modern pick-up trucks. “Every car has something happen to it,” he noted, indicating the dynamic nature of his business.

Mike Brewer: Born Dealer airs on Mondays on discovery+ and Quest, offering viewers an engaging glimpse into the world of used car sales and the challenges faced by a seasoned automotive expert. As he takes this leap into entrepreneurship, Brewer’s commitment to providing quality vehicles remains at the forefront of his mission.
