Cast of Beatles Musical Visits Liverpool’s Iconic Museum

The cast of the upcoming musical Shake It Up Baby! visited the Liverpool Beatles Museum on September 25, 2023, ahead of the show’s world premiere at the Epstein Theatre later this month. The musical will celebrate the iconic band, featuring live rock ‘n’ roll music performed on stage.

The cast, comprised of Michael Hawkins as John Lennon, Guy Freeman as Paul McCartney, James Jackson as George Harrison, and Nick Sheedy, who portrays both Pete Best and Ringo Starr, donned their period costumes for the visit. Their appearance attracted attention from fans who flocked to the area, eager to catch a glimpse of the actors celebrating the legacy of the Fab Four.

In an interview, playwright Ian Salmon expressed excitement for the musical’s debut, which runs from September 26 to October 11, 2023. “We aim to bring the energy and spirit of The Beatles to life in a vibrant and engaging way,” he stated.
