Two men attempting to steal a van from a driveway in Alderton, Tewkesbury, were thwarted by a vigilant resident in the early hours of September 16, 2025. At approximately 02:34, the individuals, wearing balaclavas, approached a property on Beckford Road. Their plan quickly unraveled when the resident spotted them and chased them off the premises.

The suspects fled the scene and drove away in a grey Vauxhall Insignia, which police suspect was operating with cloned license plates.
