Taylor Swift fans around the world are celebrating the release of her new album, The Life of a Showgirl, with official release party screenings in cinemas. This weekend marks a significant moment for Swifties, as cinemas globally, including those in Plymouth, showcase Taylor Swift: The Official Release Party of a Showgirl. The event provides a unique opportunity to experience exclusive content and connect with fellow fans.
Everyman Cinema, located in the Melville building at Royal William Yard, is hosting multiple screenings of the 89-minute film. Attendees can enjoy an exclusive world premiere of the music video for ‘The Fate of Ophelia’, along with behind-the-scenes footage and personal reflections from Taylor herself. Fans are invited to immerse themselves in the Swiftie atmosphere, reminiscent of the celebrated Eras Tour.

Today’s screening of Taylor Swift: The Official Release Party of a Showgirl is scheduled for 19:30 (7:30 PM). On October 5, 2023, showtimes include 12:00 (12 PM), 14:30 (2:30 PM), and 17:00 (5 PM). A special ‘baby club’ session at 10:30 (10:30 AM) will cater to parents with infants under 12 months, including a complimentary hot drink and slice of cake.
Ticket prices are set at £15.90 for adults and £11.40 for children aged 14 and under. Families can purchase a package for two adults and two children at £43.62.
In addition to the Taylor Swift event, Everyman Royal William Yard is screening several other films this weekend, including The Smashing Machine and Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale.
