Amy Childs, the well-known star from *The Only Way Is Essex* (TOWIE), recently provided an uplifting update on her weight gain journey, stating that she is “starting to love [herself] again.” The 35-year-old took to Instagram to share her progress after experiencing significant weight loss earlier this year, which had raised concerns about her health.

Earlier in the year, Childs lost a total of **two stone** due to stress-related issues. She has since committed to regaining at least a stone of weight and rebuilding muscle mass. In her latest post, she expressed her feelings of empowerment and control over her nutrition, thanks in part to the guidance of her coach, **Jon JK Physique**.

“I realized I was losing muscle weight and not just fat,” she explained. “Jon is coaching me to understand how to lose fat and grow muscle the right way.”

Childs candidly addressed her struggles during the festive season, noting that managing her food intake can be particularly challenging with the holidays approaching. “I always worry or struggle around managing my food during a festive period,” she shared. “But Jon is helping me navigate this time, showing me how to enjoy the food while still supporting my goals.”

Reflecting on the unexpected side effects of her weight loss, Childs mentioned in an interview with *Weekend Magazine* that she now follows a structured nutrition plan and trains three times a week with activities including padel and Pilates. She also revealed that her skin sagged significantly after her weight loss, prompting her to seek **3D Refirm treatments**, which she has undergone weekly.

“My belly is terrible, but this treatment is unbelievable,” she stated. “Whereas before I’d never wear a bikini, next year when I go on holiday I’ll wear one.”

Childs has experienced a tumultuous period recently, with her brother, **Billy**, hospitalized following a serious car accident. She expressed gratitude for his survival, stating, “Someone was looking over my brother” after his car was “written off” in the accident.

In addition to family concerns, Childs has been juggling her role as a mother to four children—**Polly**, aged eight, **Ritchie**, seven, and twins **Billy** and **Millie**, both two years old. This has contributed to her stress levels, which she believes have affected her weight.

“I worry about my mum constantly,” she admitted, referencing her mother’s recent heart attack. “People think I’m not eating, but I do eat. To be honest, I feel better when I’m a bit heavier than I am at the moment.”

Childs reflected on her emotional state during this challenging time, noting that the pressures of her personal life and the demands of parenting have taken a toll. “It’s the result of pure stress,” she said. “We’re also having renovations done in the midst of parenting four kids.”

In an emotional interview with *OK! Magazine*, she discussed the impact of public scrutiny on her weight. “I’ve had lots of people concerned about me, which I completely understand,” she stated. “But yes, people can be so quick to judge.”

As Childs continues her journey towards self-acceptance and health, she remains focused on her goals. With the support of her coach and a clearer understanding of her nutritional needs, she is determined to navigate the challenges ahead, especially during the festive season.
