The couple separated in 2015 and finalized their divorce three years later, yet they have maintained a positive co-parenting relationship. Affleck spoke about their partnership in a March interview with GQ, expressing gratitude for Garner’s involvement in their children’s lives.

“I’m really lucky that I have a really good co-parent and partner in Jennifer Garner, the kids’ mom, who’s wonderful and great and we work together well,” Affleck stated.

Garner has also reflected on their relationship since the split. In a 2021 interview with The Hollywood Reporter, she shared her optimism about their future family gatherings. “When our kids get married, we’ll dance, I know that now. We’ll boogaloo and have a great time. I don’t worry about that anymore,” she said.
