Kaia Gerber and Lewis Pullman Shine on Red Carpet Debut

Kaia Gerber and Lewis Pullman made headlines on September 1, 2025, as they stepped onto the red carpet together for the first time. The event supported Pullman’s latest film, The Testament of Ann Lee, which also features Amanda Seyfried and Christopher Abbott. The film explores the life of the 18th-century leader of the Shakers, a religious sect known for their communal living and pacifism.
Gerber, 24, has been romantically linked to Pullman, 32, since early January 2025. The daughter of famed supermodel Cindy Crawford and Casamigos co-founder Rande Gerber, Kaia is no stranger to a life in the public eye. Meanwhile, Pullman comes from a notable lineage as the son of acclaimed actor Bill Pullman and dancer Tamara Hurwitz.
Celebrating Family Legacy
Bill Pullman and Tamara Hurwitz share a rich history, having met at the University of Massachusetts Amherst while studying theater. Their relationship blossomed during a production directed by their professor, Ed Golden. Reflecting on their meeting in an interview with UMassMagazine, Hurwitz recalled, “Ed cast us as husband and wife, and so we invited him to our wedding.” The couple married in 1987 and has since built a life that balances their artistic pursuits with family.
The couple has three children, including Lewis, who is the youngest. Their daughter Maesa, born in 1988, is a talented musician and educator, while their middle son, Jack, born in 1989, is known for his creativity in puppetry and mask-making. Bill remarked on his children’s passions, stating, “All three have evolved into these people that are making their way in the world, doing what they love.” He emphasized the importance of creativity in their upbringing, noting how each child has found their unique path.
Bill Pullman’s Career Highlights
Bill Pullman boasts an impressive filmography with over 100 credits, including iconic roles such as Lone Starr in Spaceballs (1987) and President Thomas J. Whitmore in Independence Day (1996). His recent portrayal of attorney Alex Murdaugh in Murdaugh Murders: The Movie has garnered attention, coinciding with the success of his son Lewis’s series Lessons in Chemistry, starring Brie Larson. The two have shared the spotlight during the Emmy circuit, celebrating their respective achievements.
As Kaia and Lewis continue to navigate their burgeoning relationship, their families’ artistic legacies remain a significant influence. The couple’s appearance at the premiere marks a new chapter in their lives, both personally and professionally, highlighting the intertwining of family, creativity, and public life.
