In her emotional response, Davis, aged 60, took to social media to share her dismay. “I am profoundly sad. I love our whole beautiful cast and crew. 400 artisans working so hard on our show with deep love,” she wrote. Davis also expressed her gratitude toward the loyal fanbase, stating, “And to our loyal fans, we love you forever and ever.” She later followed up with another post thanking her followers for their support during this difficult time.
Nixon, 59, also shared her feelings through a series of photos from the set. “I can’t believe our wild beautiful And Just Like That ride is almost over. It has been such a delight from start to finish,” she reflected. Nixon indicated that the cast and crew will remain connected despite the show’s conclusion, urging fans to stay tuned for the remaining episodes, which promise surprises.
Additional Voices from the Cast
Nicole Ari Parker, who joined the series in 2021, expressed her gratitude for being part of the franchise. “An Honor and a Joy to be a part of this iconic family,” Parker stated, thanking King, executive producer Susan Fales-Hill, and her fellow cast members. She highlighted her collaborative experiences on set, particularly with her co-star Christopher Jackson.
As the series nears its conclusion, King explained the decision to wrap things up. “While I was writing the last episode of season 3, it became clear to me that this might be a wonderful place to stop,” he said. After discussions with Parker and other executives, it was decided to extend the original episode order from ten to twelve, culminating in a two-part finale.
And Just Like That is currently streaming on HBO Max. The series has garnered a dedicated following, and its cancellation marks the end of an era for many fans and the cast alike.
