New Luxury Glamping Site Opens Near Birmingham, Set to Expand

A new luxury glamping site, AvantGlamp, has officially opened near Birmingham, just a nine-minute train ride from the city centre. Located at the National Exhibition Centre (NEC) and adjacent to the BP Pulse LIVE Arena and Resorts World, this unique lakeside retreat debuted on August 14, 2023. The site features a mix of accommodations designed to offer guests an immersive experience in nature while enjoying modern comforts.

The current offering includes five woodland bungalows, five overwater suites, and a presidential suite that boasts its own hot tub and lakeside deck. The resort plans to expand further, ultimately featuring a total of 59 pods. Among these will be a dozen Overwater Suites, each designed with private terraces overlooking Pendigo Lake. Additionally, the development will include 46 Woodland Bungalows nestled among the trees, providing double and twin room layouts suitable for up to four guests.

Each accommodation is equipped with plush beds and private bathrooms stocked with high-quality toiletries. Guests can also enjoy amenities such as Bluetooth speakers, smart TVs, and Nespresso coffee machines. The pods are designed with full insulation, heating, and air conditioning, ensuring a comfortable stay regardless of the season.

The presidential suite accommodates up to six people and is positioned in a serene woodland setting, making it an ideal choice for families or groups looking for a retreat. All currently available units can be booked for 2025 and 2026, highlighting the anticipated demand for this new glamping experience.

As the site develops, it aims to attract both visitors to the NEC and those simply seeking a luxurious escape in nature. With its prime location and upscale offerings, AvantGlamp is poised to become a popular destination for both local and international travelers looking to experience the best of glamping just outside Birmingham.
