Gunman Executes Krivokapić at Close Range Outside Home

A shocking shooting occurred near the home of Krivokapić, who was killed by an assailant from a distance of approximately 30 meters. The incident unfolded as Krivokapić returned to his residence, having recently arrived from abroad. Reports indicate that he may have been aware of a potential threat to his life, as he had been refraining from leaving his house since his return.
Law enforcement officials speculate that Krivokapić did not anticipate that his attackers would come so close to his doorstep. This incident has drawn parallels to the murder of Vasko Lješković, who was also shot by a sniper in the courtyard of his family home in Cetinje in late September 2022. Both men were reportedly associated with the Škaljari clan, a criminal organization known for its involvement in organized crime.
Witnesses reported hearing several gunshots around 14:30 local time. Emergency services arrived swiftly, but Krivokapić was pronounced dead at the scene. Investigators are now piecing together the events leading up to the shooting, focusing on potential motives and the identity of the shooter.
The murder has raised concerns about escalating violence linked to organized crime in the region. Authorities are under pressure to enhance security measures to protect individuals involved in ongoing criminal investigations. The connection between Krivokapić and Lješković underscores the ongoing rivalry among factions within Montenegro’s criminal underworld.
As the investigation unfolds, law enforcement agencies are urging anyone with information to come forward. The community remains on alert as officials work to address the growing threats posed by organized crime.
