Model Plans Third Brazilian Butt Lift After Two Botched Surgeries

A model has announced plans for a third Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) following two previous surgeries that she describes as “botched.” Alanna Pow, a 22-year-old former air hostess from Australia, spent a staggering £18,000 on the procedures, which left her unable to sit down for extended periods. Despite the difficulties, she is determined to pursue further enhancements.

Alanna traveled over 6,400 miles to Turkey for her initial BBL procedure, which cost her £9,300 and included a complimentary nose job. The recovery process was challenging, forcing her to lie face-down for months. “The recovery from my surgeries was awful,” she remarked, reflecting on her experience.

During her first BBL, Alanna was still working as a flight attendant, making it difficult to manage her recovery. She recalls enduring significant pain while sitting on a special cushion during flights. “I had to walk up and down the whole flight,” she explained, detailing the discomfort she experienced. Alanna wore a compression garment for six weeks and laid on her front, as sitting was not an option.

Now residing in Bali, Alanna has built a substantial online presence, boasting almost three million followers on her social media account @alannasworldx. She reportedly earns approximately £110,000 monthly by sharing provocative content online. Following her first procedure, she returned to Turkey for a second BBL in 2025, incurring similar costs but with improvements to her nose that she felt were satisfactory.

In September, Alanna plans to undergo a third operation in Australia, seeking corrections for the issues caused by her earlier surgeries. This time, the procedure will cost her £19,500. “I wouldn’t recommend Turkey. I feel like I’ve been botched,” she stated candidly, noting that her legs now appear misshapen due to excessive fat removal during her surgeries.

Despite her dissatisfaction with the earlier outcomes, Alanna remains optimistic about her third BBL. She intends to have fat removed from several areas, including her chin, tummy, arms, back, and legs, to achieve the desired look. Her new surgeon will also redistribute fat to her thighs, aiming for a more balanced appearance.

Alanna’s decision to pursue cosmetic procedures stems from her desire for proportionality, expressing that she loves her body but sees room for improvement. “I look in the mirror every single day and I love my body, but if I want to make changes, that’s my choice – and I’ll keep going until I get it right,” she said.

The model’s decision to opt for surgery in Turkey was influenced by social media, where she saw a fellow influencer visiting the same surgeon. Reflecting on her experience, Alanna finds it “crazy” how easy it was to secure an appointment in Turkey compared to the more rigorous process in Australia, which includes mental health assessments and waiting periods.

As she prepares for her upcoming surgery, Alanna is excited and views her past experiences as learning lessons. “The first two were just learning lessons for me,” she stated, looking forward to achieving the aesthetic she desires.
