Red Arrows Set for Stunning Display Over Cambridgeshire on August 22

The Red Arrows, the renowned British aerobatic team, will fly over parts of Cambridgeshire as they prepare for a performance at the Clacton air show on August 22, 2023. The iconic team will depart from RAF Mildenhall at 12:47 PM, making their way to Clacton for an anticipated display at 1 PM.
As part of their route, the Red Arrows will pass over Newmarket at 12:49 PM, continuing their journey above Stratford St Mary and Great Bentley before arriving at Clacton. Following their show, they are scheduled to return to RAF Mildenhall, flying directly over Bury St Edmunds at around 1:41 PM, and landing back at the base at 1:42 PM.
For those unable to attend the early afternoon display, the Red Arrows will make another pass over Cambridgeshire later in the day. They will take off from RAF Mildenhall again at 15:25 PM, heading towards Feltwell at 15:27 PM, before flying over Ely, Hemingford Grey, and Little Paxton. The team will then move towards Bolnhurst at 15:33 PM.
The Red Arrows will continue their flight south of Northampton before arriving at Exeter Airport at 16:02 PM. It is important to note that all routes and timings are subject to change depending on weather conditions.
Spectators can identify the Red Arrows by their distinctive BAE Systems Hawk T1 advanced trainer aircraft, often showcased in their classic Diamond Nine formation, making them a spectacular sight in the sky.
With their rich history and impressive displays, the Red Arrows continue to capture the imagination of aviation enthusiasts and the public alike.
