According to readers of the Times, the town’s vibrant shopping district stands out alongside other notable locations, including Sherbourne in Dorset and Wells in Somerset. In 2022, Marlborough also secured second place in the British Harper Dennis Hobbs Vitality Ranking, which assesses the health and success of town centres across the country.
