Influencer Jaqueline Barbosa Nascimento Found Dead in Brazil

The body of 22-year-old influencer Jaqueline Barbosa Nascimento was discovered on Wednesday in Brazil after she went missing during a jet ski outing with friends. Nascimento had disappeared on October 1, 2023, while enjoying a day on the water at the Igaratá dam, located near São Paulo. Firefighters recovered her body from the dam, and her mother identified her at the scene.

While authorities initially classified her death as an accident, it has since been reclassified as “suspicious.” This change follows conflicting statements from two friends who accompanied her on the trip. According to MailOnline, their accounts did not align during police questioning.

Best friend Gabrielle Reis shared her concerns with local media, revealing that Nascimento had been eager to convince her friends to join the outing. “All our close friends pleaded with her not to go, since none of us could go along,” Reis explained. “But she spent the whole week nagging us, saying, ‘come on, come on.’ In the end, she went anyway.”
