The Welsh island of Anglesey has been selected as the site for the United Kingdom’s first small modular nuclear power stations, according to sources familiar with the decision. Understanding Small Modular Reactors

Small modular reactors, as the name suggests, will operate at a significantly lower capacity than traditional nuclear power stations.
