XPENG P7+ Launches in Europe, Showcasing Advanced AI Technology
XPENG has officially introduced its latest model, the XPENG P7+, to European audiences at the 2026 Brussels Motor Show. This launch signifies a significant step in the company’s European expansion, coinciding with the automotive industry’s transition towards smarter, AI-driven mobility solutions.
He Xiaopeng, Chairman and CEO of XPENG, stated, “The launch of the XPENG P7+ represents our continued commitment to making advanced technology accessible to more people.” He emphasized the vehicle’s focus on integrating sophisticated technology, including proprietary Turing AI chips, alongside a refined design.
Advanced Technology and Intelligent Features
The XPENG P7+ boasts impressive capabilities powered by its proprietary Turing AI chip architecture, which delivers up to 750 tera operations per second (TOPS) of AI computing power. This advanced platform enhances perception and data processing, enabling sophisticated driver assistance systems (ADAS) that adapt to various driving scenarios.
As an AI-defined vehicle, the P7+ facilitates seamless lane changes, safe cruising, and easy parking, effectively managing complex traffic conditions. Inside, a W-HUD (wide head-up display) projects essential information directly into the driver’s line of sight, enhancing convenience and safety.
The vehicle’s performance is further supported by an 800V Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery, allowing for rapid charging from 10% to 80% in just 12 minutes when connected to compatible high-power chargers.
Design and Manufacturing Insights
Measuring 5,071 mm in length, 1,937 mm in width, and 1,512 mm in height, the P7+ features a dynamic design that combines athleticism with elegance. Its interior prioritizes luxury, utilizing premium materials such as premium Nappa leather and a microfiber velour headliner that mimics cashmere. Sound insulation is a key feature, with up to 62 targeted noise reduction points and a variety of sound-absorbing elements, ensuring a quiet and comfortable driving experience.
Pilot production of the P7+ has been established at Magna Steyr’s facility in Graz, Austria. This model marks the third vehicle manufactured in Europe following the New G6 and New G9. Deliveries are set to commence in April across 25 European markets, with a starting price of €43,990 for the RWD Standard Range in Spain, Portugal, and Italy, subject to local taxes and regulations.
Building upon its expanding presence in Europe, XPENG delivered 22,787 vehicles last year, reflecting a remarkable 126% year-on-year growth. The company is now operational in 26 European countries, supported by over 13 local importers and dealer partners.
Additionally, the establishment of the XPENG Germany R&D centre in 2025 aims to bolster local innovation and engineering capabilities.
Founded in 2014, XPENG has emerged as a prominent player in the AI-driven electric vehicle sector. The company is dedicated to designing, developing, manufacturing, and marketing intelligent electric vehicles tailored to tech-savvy consumers. With aspirations to lead the intelligent electric vehicle revolution, XPENG focuses on cutting-edge technology and enhancing customer experiences through in-house development of advanced driver assistance technology and vehicle systems.
XPENG operates globally, with headquarters in Guangzhou, China, and offices in Beijing, Shanghai, Silicon Valley, and Amsterdam.
