Community Pays Tribute to Beloved Residents in Recent Funeral Notices

Recent funeral announcements in Cambridgeshire have highlighted the lives and legacies of several cherished community members. Among those remembered is David Benton, a former owner of Benton’s Bakery, who passed away at the age of 94 on August 3, 2025, in Arthur Rank Hospice. His funeral service is scheduled for August 29, 2025, at the Cambridge City Crematorium.
Remembering David Benton and Others
Benton was a beloved husband to the late Margaret and a devoted father to Barry and Angela. He is also remembered fondly as a grandad to Jack, Rebecca, and Dan. Family flowers are requested, with donations to be directed to Arthur Rank Hospice Charities during the service.
