Family Remembers Cyclist Robert Sansom Following Fatal Crash

A family is mourning the loss of Robert Sansom, known affectionately as Bob, who died in a cycling accident in Cambridgeshire on August 7, 2023. Emergency services were dispatched to the scene shortly after 21:15, where they pronounced Sansom dead.

The driver of the Skoda, a man in his 30s from Newmarket, has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. Following the incident, he was released on bail and is scheduled to return to Parkside Police Station on November 7, 2023.
