Sekiro Anime Unveiled: Streaming Exclusively on Crunchyroll in 2026

A new hand-drawn anime adaptation of the acclaimed video game **Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice**, titled **Sekiro: No Defeat**, has been officially announced. The series is set to stream exclusively on **Crunchyroll** in **2026**, though a specific release date has yet to be confirmed. The art direction is being managed by **Yuji Kaneko**, with color design by **Azusa Sasaki**. Cinematography will be led by **Keisuke Nozawa**, and the editing is overseen by **Yoshinori Murakami**. **Yasushi Nagura** will handle sound direction.
The anime will feature the original voice cast from the 2019 video game. **Daisuke Namikawa** reprises his role as Wolf, the game’s main protagonist. **Miyuki Satou** returns as Kuro, the Divine Heir, and **Kenjirō Tsuda** will once again voice Genichiro Ashina. These actors have extensive experience in major anime productions; for example, Namikawa is known for voicing Yamato in **Digimon Adventure**, while Tsuda played Hannes in **Attack on Titan**.
