Ex-West End performer and acclaimed singing coach Jamie Read is celebrating two decades of empowering singers in Thatcham. Since launching his one-to-one singing lessons in September 2005, Jamie has transformed the lives of many, ranging from local talent to renowned artists.

Initially starting with a small group of students, Jamie’s coaching has since attracted hundreds of clients, including recording artists, award-winning performers from the West End, and television celebrities. His impressive career includes performances alongside legends such as Judi Dench and Brian Blessed, which adds to his credibility as a coach.

The impact of Jamie’s work is evident in his students’ journeys. “I never imagined when I started out that I would have well-known performers travelling from London out to little old Thatcham to come and work with me!” Jamie shared. Recently, he conducted this choir during several dates on Gareth Malone’s UK tour, further showcasing his dedication to fostering musical talent.
