Markel Group Announces 2026 Reunion at University of Richmond

Markel Group Inc. has confirmed that its 2026 Reunion, which includes the annual shareholders’ meeting, will take place at the University of Richmond on May 20, 2026. This event will feature a series of engaging discussions and celebrations, designed to connect company leadership with shareholders and the broader community.
The business segment of the Reunion, titled The Meeting, will commence at 2:00 p.m. ET in the Robins Center Arena. During this session, executives from Markel Group will respond to shareholder inquiries, share insights into company operations, and recognize the contributions of associates within the organization.
In the morning hours, leadership will conduct panels focusing on various aspects of the business, setting the stage for an informative day. The event will culminate in a lively celebration on the University of Richmond Football field, featuring live music, refreshments, and food trucks.
Tom Gayner, Chief Executive Officer of Markel Group, emphasized the value of in-person engagement. “The Reunion is a high point of our year and can’t be experienced on Zoom,” he stated. “As fewer companies host shareholder meetings live, we remain dedicated to providing a space for all Markel Group shareholders to interact with our leadership while enjoying some fun along the way.”
The 2026 Reunion aims to offer attendees an opportunity to gain deeper insights into the exciting developments at Markel Group. Gayner noted, “There are so many exciting things happening at our company. The Reunion provides the perfect forum to share insights with, and learn from, our most ardent stakeholders.”
