LG Innotek Showcases Cutting-Edge Mobility Solutions at CES 2026
LG Innotek has announced its plans to unveil a range of innovative mobility solutions at CES 2026, taking place in Las Vegas from January 6 to January 9. The company aims to highlight its advancements in autonomous driving and electric vehicle (EV) technologies, attracting significant interest from industry professionals and attendees alike.
The exhibition booth, which spans approximately 330.58 square meters, is situated at the entrance of the Las Vegas Convention Center’s West Hall. This year, LG Innotek is adopting a focused mobility theme, building on the strategy it implemented in the previous year. Visitors to the booth will encounter a mock-up of a future-oriented autonomous vehicle that showcases 16 integrated products related to Autonomous Driving (AD) and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).
Innovative Product Lineup
LG Innotek has shifted its approach to presenting its product lineup, moving from a traditional component listing to a more integrated software solution model. This change emphasizes the company’s commitment to becoming a customer-centric total mobility solution provider, particularly in the context of AI-Defined Vehicles (AIDV).
The autonomous vehicle mock-up features various advanced solutions, including the flagship ‘Autonomous Driving Convergence Sensing Solutions.’ Notably, the vehicle camera modules are designed to integrate seamlessly with LiDAR and Radar technologies. Among these, the Heated Camera Module, which quickly melts snow and frost, and the Active Cleaning Camera Module, capable of removing obstructions from the lens in just one second, demonstrate enhanced functionality powered by LG Innotek’s proprietary software.
Attention is drawn to the ultra-compact LiDAR system, co-developed with U.S. firm Aeva, which can detect objects up to 650 feet (200 meters) away. This represents a significant improvement over existing camera systems, addressing current limitations in long-distance detection.
Visitors will have the opportunity to experience the autonomous vehicle mock-up firsthand. By sitting in the driver’s seat, they can explore LG Innotek’s unique autonomous driving capabilities through an LED screen, which is supported by front-mounted sensing solutions.
Advanced In-Cabin Solutions
Among the innovations featured is the Next-Generation Under-Display Camera Module, which utilizes LG Innotek’s AI image restoration software. This module is designed to provide precise facial recognition while remaining hidden behind the dashboard, ensuring no compromise on image quality. Additionally, the dual recording function allows for content creation, enabling users to document their experiences through vlogs while driving.
The mock-up also showcases UWB (Ultra-WideBand) Radar, featuring Child Presence Detection (CPD) and a Kick Sensor for hands-free trunk operation. Vehicle lighting innovations include the CES 2026 Innovation Award-winning Ultra-Thin Pixel Lighting Modules, integrated into Daytime Running Lamps (DRLs) and turn signals. These modules utilize ultra-high-resolution pixels to render letters and patterns with precision, enhancing both aesthetics and safety.
Connectivity solutions are also a crucial part of LG Innotek’s offerings. The 5G NTN Module facilitates blind-spot satellite communication, while the Vehicular AP Module acts as the AIDV’s “brain.” Furthermore, the UWB Digital Key incorporates ultra-precise short-range communication technology, significantly improving safety and convenience.
To spotlight its EV advancements, LG Innotek has prepared a dedicated EV mock-up. This display encompasses 15 integrated EV solutions, including the world’s first 800V Wireless Battery Management System (BMS), developed with B-Link. This system combines batteries and the Battery Junction Box (BJB) into a single unit, resulting in lighter and more efficient battery packs. The company aims to showcase its miniaturized, lightweight, and complex technologies essential for modern EV architecture, along with precision motor control and wireless innovations.
Moon Hyuksoo, CEO of LG Innotek, stated, “CES 2026 presents a valuable opportunity to secure new business prospects in autonomous driving and EVs. Through this exhibition, we will leap forward as a mobility innovation company, delivering distinguished value to our customers.”
