Amber Heard Celebrates Completion of Latest Play, Thanks Supporters
Amber Heard has expressed gratitude to her supporters as she concludes her latest acting venture, the play Spirit of the People, at the Williamstown Theater Festival in Massachusetts. The actress, who recently navigated the highly publicized fallout from her legal battle with ex-husband Johnny Depp, shared her appreciation on Instagram, thanking her fans for making the occasion memorable.
On August 3, 2025, Heard posted a heartfelt message alongside a photo of herself with several bouquets of flowers. “Thank you to all of my fans and supporters for making this already unforgettable weekend so much more beautiful,” she noted to her five million followers. Reflecting on her experiences, she added, “The flowers won’t last forever but the memories of all the love and support I received through this will.”
Heard’s performance in Spirit of the People marks a significant return to the stage following her recent challenges. Just weeks prior, she had expressed excitement for her final performances, stating, “Lucky to be stealing one final breath before this weekend’s final performances. Last chance to see Spirit of the People at @wtfestival!” Her fans responded with enthusiasm, filling the comments with messages of support and admiration.
Three years have passed since Heard settled a contentious defamation lawsuit with Depp, which concluded in June 2022. The court ordered her to pay Depp $10 million in compensatory damages and $350,000 in punitive damages. In contrast, Heard was awarded $2 million in compensatory damages for her countersuit against Depp.
During this challenging period, Heard also embraced motherhood, welcoming twins, a son named Ocean and a daughter named Agnes, in May 2025. She is also the mother of a four-year-old daughter named Oonagh. While she appears to be single, details regarding the father of her newborn twins remain unclear.
As Heard wraps her latest project, she seems to be embracing a new chapter in her life, both personally and professionally. Her return to acting has been met with a warm reception from fans, highlighting her resilience and ability to connect with her audience despite past controversies.
With her final performances at the Williamstown Theater Festival, Heard is poised to leave a lasting impression on her fans, who continue to rally around her as she navigates this new phase in her career.
