Kaley Cuoco Reveals Tense Charmed Set Encounter with Co-Star

Kaley Cuoco, known for her role as Penny in the acclaimed series The Big Bang Theory, recently shared her experience of joining the cast of Charmed in 2005, highlighting a tense moment with one of her co-stars. When joining the eighth and final season of the supernatural drama, Cuoco described meeting the cast for the first time as a daunting experience. “Imagine this: I’ve never met anyone… I’m the new girl,” she recounted, emphasizing the pressure she felt stepping into a tight-knit group that included Alyssa Milano, Rose McGowan, and Holly Marie Combs.

Cuoco remembered feeling overwhelmed but was relieved when Milano warmly welcomed her. “Alyssa got up, ran over to me, and welcomed me to the show, gave me the biggest hug in the world,” she said. This gesture stood in contrast to her encounter with McGowan, whom Cuoco described as “maybe not as happy.” The uncertainty about McGowan’s feelings towards her has lingered, as Cuoco admitted, “I still don’t know if she likes me.”

Reflecting on the challenges of joining a show so late in its run, Cuoco acknowledged her mixed feelings. “I was the hottest I’ve ever been… thinking I’m like the coolest thing ever,” she joked, while also expressing her nerves about fitting in.
