On February 14, 2024, Cassidy took to social media to express her feelings, posting a polaroid of herself with Liam on her Instagram stories. The image captures a joyful moment, with Cassidy sitting on Payne’s knee, radiating love and happiness. She accompanied the photo with the heartfelt message: “Happy Valentine’s Day to my best friend from afar,” emphasizing her enduring connection to him.

Since his death, Cassidy, now 26, has frequently shared her emotional journey online. She has discussed the pain of losing someone she considered not only a partner but also her best friend.
