Tommy Fury Denies Pregnancy Rumours Amid Personal Turmoil
Tommy Fury has strongly dismissed recent pregnancy rumours following his split from Molly-Mae Hague. The couple, who won Love Island in 2019, shocked fans in August 2023 when they announced the end of their five-year relationship. They welcomed their daughter, Bambi, earlier that year and got engaged shortly thereafter.
In a recent interview before the airing of his documentary, Tommy: The Good. The Bad. The Fury, Fury addressed the swirling gossip and made it clear that the claims regarding a new pregnancy are unfounded. He expressed his disdain for the speculation, stating, “It’s all bulls**t,” as reported by the Daily Star. Fury elaborated on his stance during conversations with journalists, emphasizing that he has no intention of engaging in the drama that accompanies his personal life.
The boxer described the aftermath of his breakup with Molly-Mae as a “trial by social media,” acknowledging the pain caused by relentless tabloid coverage. He shared, “It was horrible, it wasn’t nice. How could it not be? Just constantly everyday, lies and just pure s**t that you’re reading in every single newspaper and magazine possible.” Despite the negativity, he remains focused on his personal well-being and growth.
Fury’s documentary delves into his struggles with alcohol, a topic that Molly-Mae also addressed in her own documentary. She revealed how his drinking had “damaged” their relationship, a sentiment that Fury acknowledges as a significant challenge in their time together. He reflected on his past behavior, stating that he no longer recognizes the person he had become during that period. “Drinking is not on my mind. I had enough drink to last me a lifetime in 2024,” he remarked.
He further emphasized a commitment to his health, noting, “I’ve always kept myself in tip-top condition. I’m an athlete, I’m a fighter, I want to strive for the best, that’s my mindset.” The boxer aims to distance himself from the distractions of public opinion, asserting, “They’re going to think what they’re going to think about me. I’ve just been me and been true to myself.”
Fury’s documentary is set to air on Tuesday, August 19, at 21:00 on BBC Three, and will also be available on BBC iPlayer. He hopes that by sharing his story, he can inspire others, stating, “If I can help one person or help a million people, I’m happy with that.”
