The latest season of *The Traitors* premiered on January 1, 2024, featuring 22 contestants vying for a prize fund that can reach up to £120,000. Among them is **Matthew Hyndham**, a 35-year-old originally from Northern Ireland, who is not only participating in the reality competition but also making waves with a distinctive artistic endeavor.

Hyndham, now based in **Edinburgh**, has gained attention for his unique niche of performing headstands while completely nude in picturesque locations. He sells these striking photographs to art collectors, with prints commanding prices as high as **£1,180** at **Bard Scotland**, a gallery currently showcasing several of his works.

To promote his art, Hyndham has established a dedicated Instagram account, @headstandmatty, which has garnered nearly **17,000 followers**. While competing on *The Traitors*, he also utilizes his main account, @yermatty. In a playful nod to his art, his biography includes a link to his headstand page along with the phrase, “If you know, you know.”

Prior to his reality television debut, Hyndham shared his aspirations for the potential prize money. He envisions purchasing a cozy cottage in the **Scottish Highlands**, a place he frequently visits and dreams of calling home. “I really want to buy a little cottage in The Highlands somewhere,” he revealed.

Hyndham also reflected on his personal journey. He and his partner got engaged during the **COVID-19 pandemic**, after a long campaign for marriage equality in Northern Ireland, which only legalized same-sex marriage in **2020**. He expressed a desire to have a wedding back home on his family farm, stating, “I think that I would probably say that I’m going to get married back home in Northern Ireland on my family farm.”

This season of *The Traitors* introduces an exciting twist with an additional Traitor whose identity is hidden not only from the contestants but also from viewers at home. The show continues to air on **BBC One** and **iPlayer**, captivating audiences with its blend of strategy and social intrigue.

As the competition unfolds, Hyndham’s dual pursuits of art and reality television highlight the diverse paths individuals can take in the quest for personal and financial fulfillment. With each headstand and strategic move, he remains a figure to watch in both realms.
