Lakeland’s Heated Airer Sale Sparks Demand with Major Discounts
Shoppers are enthusiastically purchasing the Lakeland Dry:Soon Tri:Mode Heated Hub, which has seen a significant price reduction during the Boxing Day sales. The airer is now available for £174.99, down from its original price of £349.99, prompting many customers to buy multiple units.
The Dry:Soon Tri:Mode has gained popularity as an effective solution for drying clothes indoors without the noise or high energy costs associated with tumble dryers. Users appreciate its ability to minimize condensation and dampness in their homes while laundry dries. According to Lakeland, this model is their most versatile Dry:Soon airer to date, designed to accommodate various spaces and needs.
The heated airer can be configured in a compact tower shape for full loads or folded down on one side when space is limited. It can also be opened against a wall, creating a wide, shallow drying area that does not dominate the room. The evenly heated bars ensure clothes dry thoroughly, while a zip-on cover retains warmth and improves airflow. Buyers can set the temperature and an automatic timer through digital controls, allowing the airer to switch off once the drying cycle is complete.
In addition to its core features, the Tri:Mode includes two custom laundry baskets that fit neatly beneath the bottom shelf, enhancing organization and space efficiency. The cover is adaptable for all three drying modes, with vent panels along the top and sides designed to circulate warm air, speeding up the drying process and reducing moisture levels in the room.
While shoppers can find smaller Dry:Soon models on sale, those with limited space may also consider the MINKY SureDri 4 Tier Heated Clothes Airer, now priced at £129, down from £179. This model offers a slightly larger drying area of 23 metres and features four tiers, making it ideal for compact living situations.
Lakeland’s winter sale launched on Boxing Day, featuring discounts of up to 50% on thousands of items, alongside promotions from retailers like Next, Dunelm, Boden, and Debenhams. The Dry:Soon Tri:Mode, in particular, has received high ratings from customers on the Lakeland website.
One satisfied customer remarked, “Delighted with the heated drying hub, had a previous Dry:Soon deluxe and this is a big improvement, sturdier yet lightweight. Practical and well thought out, the love wall position makes it more streamlined and takes up less room.” Another user shared, “Brilliant airer, I loved mine so I bought one for my daughter as well; it does everything I wanted it to.”
Others have voiced mixed opinions. One user said, “Great in winter, not used much the last couple of months but looking forward to getting it back in use again. It was bigger than I expected but does the job!” Another added, “I like how this can be stored and the different modes I can use; the heat and drying time are brilliant. The only issue I have had is the cover; although this fits, it’s a bit of a hassle to move around when loading.”
The Dry:Soon Tri:Mode Heated Hub is currently available for purchase from Lakeland, appealing to those seeking an efficient and effective indoor drying solution.
