I’m not going to put an absolute number on it, but it’s going to be weeks, which is a big disappointment for us, obviously, because of the level of player he is for us.” Rudoni had also sustained a shoulder injury the previous week, compounding the difficulties for the team.

As for Eccles, Lampard remains hopeful that the Coventry-born midfielder will return in time for the match against Blackburn at the CBS Arena. While Eccles has been recovering from a gluteal muscle injury, it may be prudent for Lampard to allow Mason-Clark to maintain his position for another week, considering the circumstances.
