Exeter City Aims to End Winless Streak Against Burton Albion
Exeter City will seek to break a seven-match winless streak when they host Burton Albion tonight at St James Park. The Grecians are coming off a significant 5-1 defeat to Bolton Wanderers, which has left them just five points above the relegation zone. The Brewers, currently two points and two places below Exeter in the league standings, are in need of a victory as well.
The match is scheduled to kick off at 19:45 GMT and will be broadcast live on Sky Sports. Originally set to take place on November 22, this fixture had to be postponed due to a fire at the stadium. Despite the delay, it remains on the television schedule for tonight.
Fans can watch the game through the Sky Sports+ app or the red button service. For those who do not have a Sky Sports subscription, every match is accessible via a NOW Sports Membership, which can be streamed on a range of devices including TVs, mobile phones, tablets, and computers.
In a related development, Sky has recently reduced the price of its Essential TV and Sky Sports bundle for the 2025/26 season, allowing viewers to save £336 and offering over 1,400 live matches across the Premier League, EFL, and other competitions. This season, Sky will air at least 215 live Premier League games, marking an increase of up to 100 matches compared to previous seasons.
As both teams prepare for this crucial encounter, Exeter City will aim to reclaim their form and secure a much-needed three points, while Burton Albion will look to capitalize on their opponents’ current struggles. The stakes are high as the battle intensifies at the lower end of the league table.
