Paramount+ has unveiled the first trailer for “Marshals,” a highly anticipated spin-off of the acclaimed series “Yellowstone.” Set to premiere on March 1, 2026, the new series follows the character Kayce Dutton, portrayed by Luke Grimes, as he transitions from life on the Yellowstone Ranch to becoming part of an elite unit of U.S. Marshals.

In “Marshals,” Dutton leverages his expertise as both a cowboy and a former Navy SEAL to tackle the rising violence in Montana. He joins a diverse team of marshals, including Pete Calvin, played by Logan Marshall-Green, Belle Skinner, portrayed by Arielle Kebbel, Andrea Cruz, played by Ash Santos, and Miles Kittle, performed by Tatanka Means. Together, they face the daunting psychological toll of their roles while also balancing their responsibilities to their families.

For Kayce Dutton, this includes nurturing his relationship with his son Tate, played by Brecken Merrill, as well as his close associates Mo, portrayed by Mo Brings Plenty, and Thomas Rainwater, played by Gil Birmingham, who is connected to the Broken Rock reservation. The narrative promises to delve into the complexities faced by these marshals as they serve as the last line of defense against violence in an increasingly turbulent region.

Expanding the “Yellowstone” Universe

“Marshals” marks the fourth series to emerge from the “Yellowstone” franchise, following the success of “1883” and “1923.” This expansion signifies Paramount+’s commitment to building a rich narrative universe that resonates with fans of the original series. Furthermore, a fifth spin-off titled “The Madison” is set to debut shortly after “Marshals,” indicating a growing trend of interconnected storytelling in television.

As the premiere date approaches, anticipation continues to build among audiences eager to see how Kayce Dutton’s journey unfolds in this new chapter. With its blend of action, drama, and character depth, “Marshals” aims to attract both devoted fans of “Yellowstone” and new viewers alike.

The series will air on the CBS Television Network and will also be available for streaming on Paramount+, allowing wider access for audiences to engage with this evolving narrative landscape. As the world of “Yellowstone” expands, “Marshals” is poised to deliver a gripping exploration of justice in the American West.
