Ministry Implements Air Purifiers in Schools to Combat Pollution
The Ministry of Education, Science and Innovation (MPNI) is taking proactive steps to address air pollution in Pljevlja by procuring air purifiers for schools. This initiative aims to enhance the health and safety of students and staff in educational facilities across the region.
In light of recent air quality concerns, the ministry has been in continuous communication with school leadership, emphasizing the importance of implementing additional protective measures. According to a statement from Anđela Jakšić Stojanović, the Minister of Education, these measures are designed to safeguard the well-being of both students and employees.
Implementation of Air Purification Measures
Educational institutions in Pljevlja have begun organizing the procurement of air purifiers for classrooms, libraries, and other communal spaces. The MPNI is funding this initiative to ensure that all facilities meet improved health standards.
The ministry has instructed schools to follow the guidelines provided by the Public Health Institute of Montenegro regarding the organization of the teaching process. This includes ongoing monitoring of the air quality situation in the area to adapt teaching methods as necessary. The MPNI reassures that it will maintain regular communication with relevant institutions to support schools effectively.
Commitment to Health and Safety
In their statement, the MPNI expressed gratitude to educational institutions for their constructive collaboration and timely actions. The ministry highlighted that prioritizing the health of children and staff remains an absolute commitment.
As air quality continues to be a pressing issue, the MPNI’s strategic approach represents a significant step toward ensuring safer learning environments for all students in Pljevlja. The effectiveness of these measures will be closely monitored as the situation evolves, with the ministry prepared to adjust strategies as needed.
