Holloway and Oliveira Clash in High-Stakes UFC 326 Showdown
Max Holloway will face Charles Oliveira tonight at UFC 326 in a highly anticipated rematch, taking place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. The fight marks the first time the two former champions will meet since their initial encounter over a decade ago, which Holloway won under controversial circumstances. This time, they will compete for the “Baddest Motherf*****” belt in the lightweight division.
The main event pits Hawaiian fighter Holloway, a former featherweight champion, against Brazilian veteran Oliveira, who has held the lightweight title. Their previous bout in 2015 ended abruptly when Oliveira suffered a neck injury, leaving uncertainty about the nature of his injury even today. Both fighters, now aged 34 and 36 respectively, have evolved significantly in their careers, each building a legacy worthy of Hall of Fame recognition.
A victory for Holloway could set the stage for a future rematch with current lightweight champion Ilia Topuria. Topuria previously defeated Holloway in a featherweight title fight in 2024 and also claimed victory over Oliveira last summer. Fans are eager to see if Holloway can claim another shot at Topuria, this time in a new weight class.
