Greater Anglia Staff Gather Easter Eggs for Hospitalized Children

Staff members at **Greater Anglia** are spearheading an Easter egg appeal aimed at brightening the spirits of sick children at **Princess Alexandra Hospital**. The initiative invites travellers from **Stansted Mountfitchet**, **Bishop’s Stortford**, **Sawbridgeworth**, **Harlow Mill**, and **Harlow town station** to contribute by donating Easter treats and gifts. The collection period runs from **January 26** to **March 22, 2025**.

The donated items will be distributed to young patients on the Dolphin Ward at the Harlow hospital and through the **Enders Touch Foundation**. This appeal, which has been ongoing since **2020**, was initiated by **Michael King**, a relief ticket office clerk at the Sawbridgeworth and Stansted Mountfitchet stations.

Last year’s appeal saw remarkable generosity, with nearly **700 Easter treats** collected and delivered to children and families in the local community. Michael King expressed gratitude for the support received, stating, “This appeal makes such a difference, and I would like to say a huge thank you in advance to everyone who is able to donate.”
