Local Dance School Celebrates Student Success with Awards Ceremony

The students of the Jan Trumble School of Dance achieved remarkable success in their ballet, tap, and freestyle examinations held before Christmas in December 2000. All participants passed with high marks and were honored at an awards ceremony at the Doll Hall in Brora.

Recognition of Young Talent

The awards were presented by Ducie Miller, an accomplished dancer trained at the prestigious Royal Academy of Dance in London. The event showcased the dedication and talent of the young dancers, who ranged in age from three to fourteen years. Many of the students had only recently begun their classes, making their achievements particularly noteworthy.

During the presentation, Jan Trumble, the school’s founder and principal instructor, expressed her pride in the students’ accomplishments. “I am absolutely delighted with the results. The effort these children put in, especially those who had only joined the classes a few months ago, is commendable,” she said.
